CAMP OUT

ケレン君、初めてのキャンプに行って来ました!

ザックは仕事でいけなかったのですが、ケレン君が喜ぶと思い、連れていきました。

キャンプ場に行く前に、プールでみんなと待ち合わせをして

泳いできました。

ザックのおばあちゃんは水泳の先生もしていたことがあったので、

怜君に教えてもらいました。

結構水も平気で、楽しんでました。

this was kellen's first time swimming at a big pool!

and kellen loved it! he had his ears in the water and he was kicking and paddling!

i'm so glad we went.

we did miss zac... too bad he had to work...

kellen's first time camping!

he seemed to enjoy himself in the woods.

i could not hold him for the whole camping trip...

so i just let him go... and then...

キャンプ場では、ずうっと抱っこは無理だと思い、

地面におろしたら・・・

he was rolling and crawling...

ごろごろ、はいはいで・・・ looked like this pretty soon... こんなになっちゃいました。 it was so fun to cook the rolls on sticks! パンを、棒にまいて、火で焼きました。おいしかった。 i actually didn't realize how much deena and anita looked alike til this photo. ザックのお姉ちゃん達と。 huge marshmallow! でっかいマシュマロ。 これをチョコとグラムクラッカーで サンドイッチしておいしい・・・。

this evening,

kellen was tired so i got ready for bed and went into my tent to sleep...

and at about 2 am...

i smelt something horrible!

it was skunk!

my sister in law's tent got sprayed.

their dog was wrestling with a skunk and sprayed on the tent!

i thought my tent was sprayed because the smell was so bad!

i could not go back to sleep and pretty soon, kellen gets up and starts gagging.

it was nasty...

kellen could not sleep after that and we ended up going into our car

at around 5 am and slept for a couple of hours...

この夜なのですが・・・

ケレン君も眠くなってきたので、

私も寝ようと思い、テントに入ってから数時間後・・・

くさっ！

と、起きた私・・・。

実は、一緒に来てた犬が、スカンクとレスリングをして、

私の寝ていた近くのテントに強烈なおなら・・・。

ケレン君も匂いにきずき、げほげほと咳をし始め、

けっきょく、その後なかなか寝れずに、

私とケレン君は車へ移動・・・。

たしか、スカンクに起こされたのは夜中の２時ごろ。

で、車に入って、やっと寝付いたのは多分５時前・・・。

つかれました。

そのあさ、おきてからケレン君は早速スイカをたべてました。

kellen went back to playing on the ground...

ケレン君、朝食の後はまた地面の上で遊び始めました。

around lunch time, we went on a hike.

kellen stayed on the camp site and slept...

お昼ごろ、みんなでハイキングにいきました。

ケレン君はキャンプ場でお昼ね・・・。

that was a fun hike!

結構、ハイキングというより、ホントに山登りという感じでした。

kellen was so tired...

and kept sleeping even after we came back.

it was a fun camping for trip for both me and kellen!

帰ってきてもまだ寝続けるケレン君・・・。

疲れたね。

でも、すごく楽しいキャンプでした！
